See what our staff is excited about for this holiday season.
With Christmas just around the corner and snow becoming a more regular occurrence, the need for some comfort arises. I went and talked with our department heads to see what they are feeling or in the mood for this time of year.
Natalie
Natalie, one of our ordering managers, told me that a nice hot coffee is perfect for the winter time. We have a ton of options to choose from here at Pomegranate, but I'll recommend Parable Coffee Queen City Blend, a local company. She also recommended Alden's Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, which pairs well with any holiday dessert.
Mya
Mya, our dairy & frozen manager, recommended me Malk Almond Holiday Nog. This is perfect for those who want or have to go dairy free, but still want to get into the holiday spirit. She also recommended me Chuckanut Bay Peppermint Cheesecake, a perfect single serving treat for yourself.
April
April, our supplements manager, recommended me Olipop Ginger Ale, a classic drink for the holiday season. She also pointed out Urban Veda Radiance Body Lotion, which is perfect for the dryer skin during the winter season.
Seth
Our meat and bulk manager, Seth, recommended Il Porcellino Salumi; an italian salami that steps up any charcuterie board. He also highlighted Ferndale's Turkey Gravy, which is a perfect pair for your holiday dinners.
Joey
Our bistro manager, Joey, has two desserts he recommended me. He pointed to the bistro's gluten-free apple crisp, a customer favorite, and a new pumpkin bar that they are currently offering.
Lexi
Lexi, our producer manager, recommended a few seasonal fruits. Cranberries, oranges, and grapefruits are perfect for the holiday season.
Nick
Nick, our beer and wine expert, had a couple suggestions. He recommended the non-alcoholic Clausthaler Ale, and the non-alcoholic Seedlip Spice 94.
